Hey, My passport for mac not showing up in finder.
I use a MacBook and a PC, often simultaneously. Now I find it really annoying to have the keyboard of my PC in front of my MacBook.
- As the other answer says yes as long as it’s USB or Bluetooth - some of the keys - like the Windows key is the Mac “Command” Key, Alt = “Option”, Ctrl = “Control” now the Alt & Windows keys are flipped from the usual positions on the Mac keyboard.
- Use your laptop’s mouse and keyboard to control your target. See our user guide for a list of keyboard commands you can send to your target computer, including Ctrl-Alt-Del and Alt-Tab. Step 4: Complete your remote session. When you’re done, press the designated Host Key on your keyboard.
To use a keyboard shortcut, press and hold one or more modifier keys and then press the last key of the shortcut. For example, to use Command-C (copy), press and hold the Command key, then the C key, then release both keys. Mac menus and keyboards often use symbols for certain keys, including modifier keys.
So I was wondering if there was a way to use my built-in MacBook keyboard to control my PC?
Is there a way to route the 'keyboard-signal' out of my MacBook?
I ask this because currently I have a USB Hub/Switch with a mouse and an external keyboard connected. This switch allows me to quickly change which computer I'm working on. Youtube iframe autoplay. Now if I could remove the externe keyboard with the signal of my MacBook keyboard, that would be so awesome.
Any help?
